Excellent communication, thorough and helpful host. Perfect place for our anniversary, with everything we needed and more. Lovely welcome basket with marshmallows, milk, water, cider and larger. Peaceful location with a fabulous hammock. Enjoyed a nice meal nearby at Yockleton Arms. Highly recommended!

I always come back for the amazing staff who returned my forgotten things at my first stay. The place has everything I need - free parking, a cozy bar, outdoor dining, and a flat-screen TV. Can't wait to return for Christmas!

Very comfy and well-stocked room with lovely perks in the fridge. Spotlessly clean with beautiful surroundings. Helpful and thorough communication. A perfect spot for a special occasion or romantic getaway. Highly recommended!

Apparently, a "fully functional" kitchen means just a fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Who needs an oven anyway?

We had a fantastic stay at The Orchard Retreat in Shrewsbury. Everything was perfect for our 13th wedding anniversary. The communication with Emma, the staff member, was excellent. She was very thorough and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel facilities were great, and the room, Ted's Shack, had everything we needed and more. The welcome basket with marshmallows for the fire and other goodies was a lovely touch. The cleanliness of the place was great, and the fresh milk, water, cider, and lager in the fridge were all nice additions. The location of the hotel was peaceful and ideal for us. Emma's kind gesture of leaving us flowers and a happy anniversary message made the experience even more special. We also enjoyed the hammock and had a great meal at the Yockleton Arms, just a 5-minute drive away. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

The location is peaceful and perfect, with a 5-minute drive to a nice restaurant, Yockleton arms. the room at Ted's Shack is comfortable and clean. the fridge perks and welcome basket with marshmallows and drinks are lovely touches. the hammock is a fabulous feature to relax in.

One drawback is that the kitchen is not fully equipped as described, lacking an oven/barbecue.
